2016 Congressional Primary Election – Tuesday, June 7, 2016

Early voting is underway in all counties.  In Catawba County, early voting is available at five locations.  See this document from the Catawba County Board of Elections:




ALL North Carolina voters can vote for one of four candidates for North Carolina Supreme Court Justice.  

Most Catawba County Democrats will not see a Congressional (U.S. House of Representatives) on their ballot.  This is because Andy Millard is running unopposed for the Democratic party challenger to the incumbent representative for the North Carolina 10th Congressional District.

But, in three precincts (Northwest, Falling Creek, and St Stephens 2) in the 5th Congressional District, Democrats will choose one of these as the Democratic Party candidate:  Josh Brannon, Jim Roberts, and Charlie Wallin.  See their websites:
