Donkey Day!

Catawba County Democrats,

As your newly elected Chair, it’s my pleasure to invite you to Donkey Day on May 7. We have a great afternoon planned, including a very special guest speaker, Anderson Clayton, Chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party.

District 10 Chair, Doug Auer, and I traveled to Raleigh on April 18 to NCDP’s Meet the Chairs event. Anderson was delighted to see Catawba County represented at the Goodwin House and told us how excited she was to join us at Catawba Farms. Let’s show her what a great group of folks we have here.

We’d like to have a very large and enthusiastic crowd on the 7th. I’m happy to announce we have extended the deadline to purchase food tickets. You now have through 11:59pm on Friday, April 21 to get your tickets and food orders in. You can purchase tickets by clicking this link (also posted at the end of this note).

Having had the pleasure of being with Anderson several times over the last couple months, I can definitively say she’s worth the price of admission. You won’t be disappointed.

I would like to ask all who are able to donate a little extra to support scholarships for those who cannot afford to attend. We want to share the afternoon with as many Democrats as possible. Your generosity will go a long way to building a strong community of open-minded people. Many great things are ahead of us in Catawba County.
