As Democrats, we believe the economy should work for everyone, health care is a human right, our diversity is our strength, and democracy is worth defending. We are committed to building a more just, inclusive, and sustainable future for all.

Right here in Catawba County, North Carolina, we are working to create a community that is more prosperous, better educated, healthier, and safer. Whether you are concerned about public education, jobs and wages, affordable housing, voting rights, health care access, transportation infrastructure, or other local issues — we’re here to listen, collaborate, and take meaningful action.

Our Programs

We promote hands-on citizenship.

We empower people to get involved in the political process — by running for office, volunteering on campaigns, registering voters, and participating in local government. We believe a healthy democracy thrives when everyone has a voice and role to play.

We recruit, train, and support local leaders.

We identify passionate, community-minded individuals — from schools, nonprofits, businesses, and beyond — and help prepare them for public service. We provide training, mentorship, and ongoing support throughout their civic leadership journey.

We foster open, respectful dialogue.

We offer a space for civil discourse and welcome diverse perspectives. We believe democracy thrives when people engage, ask questions, and share ideas freely.
