From the 3rd Vice Chair - Join the work of the comms team!

Hello, CCDP neighbor!

The CCDP Leadership Team is focused on building out a stronger, more collaborative communications team — and we’d love for you to be involved.

Here’s what we’re working on:

• Rebranding & Identity Work - We’re moving forward with a larger-scale rebranding project to help CCDP stand out more clearly from the state and national party. This includes work on brand identity, tone, and visuals — as well as vetting designs for a new logo and thinking through how that could translate to merchandise (shirts, buttons, signs, etc.). If you’re interested in creative direction, design feedback, or just brainstorming, we’d love your input.

• Social Media & Content Creation - We’re especially looking for younger voices and folks who can help create original content tailored to Catawba County — not just recycling what the state provides. This could include promoting local events, spotlighting community members, or sharing information about Municipal Campaigns, protests, and other events. If you're passionate about connecting with people online and amplifying local energy, this is your lane.

• Targeted Mailings & Postcards - We’re continuing to build out our print strategy and need help with the messaging, design, and coordination of targeted mailings and postcards. If you enjoy writing persuasive copy, designing compelling visuals, or organizing outreach, there’s a place for you.

• Website Contributions - We’re working to make the CCDP website more functional and welcoming. You don’t need to be a web designer — just someone with ideas for content we should include, sections we’re missing, or ways to make it more engaging. Copywriting help is especially welcome.

• Communications Deputy Opportunity - If you're ready to take on more leadership and help me manage and organize these projects as 3rd Vice Chair, I’d love to talk. This is a great way to step into a more visible, impactful role within the party.
